PFLAG Salisbury - Rowan offers support groups for parents, families and friends of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender persons. LGBT people are also welcome to attend. We meet at Haven Evangelical Lutheran Church the second Saturday of each month. We are not a religious or political group. We represent people of many backgrounds, political persuasions, and faiths.
PFLAG meetings are a safe place to share our experiences in small groups and support each other in the continuing process of learning, acceptance and celebration. Participants are encouraged to say what’s on their mind or can simply listen to what others have to say.
From time to time, we also invite speakers from outside organizations to come during our meetings and speak to us about various topics related to the LGBT community.
